  • Students currently enrolled in: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree program
  • With a concentration or focus in: Business, Pre-med, Health Science, MBA, or related

Description of internship position:

Prisma Health Ambulance Service provides 911, critical care, mobile integrated health, and specialty care throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. We are in a near constant state of growth and expansion with a host of projects, ranging from clinical quality assurance, budgetary, conference planning, and data collection and analyzation.

Learning outcomes:

Students will have an opportunity to develop and refine skills associated with the following:

leadership, planning and development, medical/legal and ethical issues, risk management, management and the administration of EMS programs and associated services, quality improvement in a healthcare setting, quality improvement of healthcare services, research and evidence based decision making, and community engagement initiatives.
