Description of internship position:
Vendor management and project management activities.
Learning outcomes:
Contract Management: Understanding of the contract information in the contract repository and other tools used for contract tracking.
Vendor Management: Understanding and execution of the vendor review process. Participation in renewals/termination efforts.
Performance Initiative/Cost Savings: Understanding and participation in the validations of identified cost savings opportunities when tracking FY targets.
Project Management Activities: Understanding of the various processes and documents used for managing projects within the Vendor Management Office.
