Description of internship position:
The mission of this internship is to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of IT data management within a hospital setting. The purpose is to equip interns with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage and analyze healthcare data effectively, contributing to improved patient care and operational efficiency.
Interns will work closely with the hospital’s IT data management team to support various data-related projects. This includes data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, and reporting. Interns will gain exposure to healthcare data systems, learn best practices in data management, and understand the critical role of data in healthcare decision-making. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to work with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, learning how to manage and utilize patient and customer data to enhance service delivery and patient engagement.

Assist in the collection and organization of healthcare data from various sources.
Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with IT and healthcare professionals to understand data needs and requirements.

Ideal Candidates: This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in Public Health, Computer and Information Sciences, Information Technology, Statistics, or Marketing/Marketing Management. Candidates should have a strong interest in healthcare data, possess analytical skills, and be eager to learn about the intersection of IT and healthcare. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
