Description of internship position:
-Inventory Visibility Improvement Initiative-
Participation with Inventory Control strategic imperatives focused on validations and updates to current inventory systems used across our organization. Driving towards standardized practices and tools between markets. Advancing current tech deployments into future-state alignment, and creating pathways for operational efficiency gains.
Key functional elements to include:
* Item cataloging
* Shelving optimization
* Bin identification
* Par level documentation
* Process mapping of current workflows
Learning outcomes:
Participants in this opportunity should acquire:
* Deepened understanding of internal supply chain mechanisms related to inventory pathing
* First-hand experience of supply provisioning to patient care areas
* Detail-oriented view of data attributes used to facilitate demand flow
* Increased ability to prioritize needs and resources
* Familiarity with logistical concerns and issues facing Supply Chains

* proficient with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word, Excel, Vizio, and PowerPoint)
* physically able and expected to engage with products and inventory in healthcare settings (lifting, moving, etc.)

* prepared to present a summary of findings and outcomes at conclusion of internship to leaders
